Arizona MVD Practice Tests
How to Get an Arizona Driver License
The Motor Vehicles Division (MVD) of the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) administers the driving and knowledge exams for the state of Arizona. Even though we normally think of the DMV as the place to go to get a driver license in most states, MVD is where you go in Arizona.
Drivers under the age of 18 but at least 16 years of age are issued a graduated driver license. There are restrictions that come with this license type, such as the number of passengers and nighttime driving limits.
How to Get an Arizona CDL
The path to getting a CDL begins with obtaining a Commercial Learner Permit (CLP). A CLP must be held for a minimum of 14 days prior to being allowed to take a CDL skills test.
